SHSM
Becoming A Social Change Maker
Innovation, Creativity and (Social) Entrepreneurship Certificate Program
The Social Change Maker Certificate Program is a one-day program. Following the Rotman School of Design Thinking model, youth in the R.I.S.E. program work through interactive activities that help them find out how to use their strengths, passions and motivators to solve problems. Each youth will be connected with a community partner tailored to their passions and future goals. They will work with community partners who will present them with a current problem that they will work through. Finally, they will be supported by a R.I.S.E. trained facilitator in creating solutions and implementing them. Corporate responsibility is in high demand these days, therefore this certificate program is a great fit for all sectors of the SHSM program. This program can be offered in person (If guests are allowed in schools) or virtually.
$1000 a session to a maximum of 10 community partners (max 30 students)
